Any purchaser of a Fluke 170 Series or 180 Series DMM from a Fluke European authorised distributor before 31st December 2003 is eligible to apply for any one of a range of free gifts.
The free gifts include a C90 or C125 zippered soft carrying case for the meter; a Fluke 1AC VoltAlert - a noncontact pocket-sized AC line voltage detector; a Fluke TL220 SureGrip industrial test lead set; a USB Flash memory drive; or a rugged aluminium pocket torch.
The Fluke 170 Series of DMMs feature 6000 counts of resolution on a large display with analogue bargraph.

More ranges, features and resolution for DMMs
Fluke has introduced the Models 187 and 189 digital multimeters.
Accuracy is up to 0.09% for DC voltages on the 177 and 170 models.
In addition, the meters offer min/max/avg recording, autohold and display hold for enhanced troubleshooting.
The entire 170 Series offers impressive power-up and measurement display speed compared to other multimeters.
The meters provide AC and DC voltage ranges up to 1000V AC and DC, current ranges up to 10A AC and DC, and frequency, capacitance and resistance ranges to 100kHz, 10kF and 50Mohm.
The Fluke 179 provides direct temperature readouts in Celsius or Fahrenheit using an optional plug-in Fluke 80BK thermocouple probe.
The Fluke 180 Series of DMMs offer some extended measurement ranges and decibel measurements, and feature an extra-large dual-reading display with large digits and an analogue bargraph.
This provides simultaneous readouts of different measurements in an easy-to-read format.
A green LED backlight makes the display readable in dark environments.
The two high-end models offer bandwidths of 100kHz.
For enhanced troubleshooting, they offer touchhold and relative modes for reference and offset measurements, relative time stamps with min/max/avg recordings and fast min-max recording modes to capture short events.
All models offer duty cycle measurement, and, depending on the model, pulse width measurement, temperature readings with a thermocouple, and process loop measurements for calibration work.
To meet the latest requirements for documenting, storing, reporting and analysing using computer technology, all the 180 models have an infrared computer interface which allows the user to exchange measurement data between the meter and a computer.
Optional FlukeView Forms software is ideal for documenting test procedures for new equipment.
A form to apply for a free gift can be obtained from a Fluke authorised distributor. Request a free brochure from Fluke (UK) ...
