A new money-saving combo kit combines a top-of-the-range 170 series digital multimeter (DMM) with thermocouple and a handheld infra-red thermometer The kit is targeted at industrial technicians and comes with a 19% saving on individual list prices

The Fluke 179/61 kit includes the Fluke 179 true-RMS industrial DMM and the Fluke 61 infra-red thermometer.

The 179 DMM is a precision measurement tool designed specifically for demanding front-line industrial technicians and engineers.

It features a true-RMS engine for AC readings, with accuracy up to 0.09% for DC measurements.

It conforms to stringent safety standards for use up to 1000V and 10A, AC and DC.

The bright, backlit display offers 6000 counts of resolution and an analogue bargraph.

Frequency, capacitance and resistance ranges are up to 100kHz, 10,000mF and 50MW, respectively.

It comes with 4mm silicone test leads.

The rugged and reliable Fluke 61 infra-red thermometer is ideal for measuring rotating, electrically live, dangerously hot, or hard-to-reach objects.

When the button is depressed and held down, a laser clearly illuminates the target position and temperature readings are continuously updated and displayed.

The clear backlit, large digit, LCD screen enables easy reading even in the most inaccessible locations.

It provides a fast and accurate response of temperature readings from -18 to +275C in less than a second, and features an automatic "sleep mode".

The 80BK type-K bead thermocouple probe for the 179 has a convenient one-piece construction that plugs directly into the meter when required.

The DMM measures and displays temperatures from -40 to +260C.

Readouts may be in Fahrenheit if desired.

Both tools and the accessories fit conveniently into a Fluke C800 hard carrying case, included as part of the kit. Request a free brochure from Fluke (UK) ...
