The upgraded Fluke 88 V/A Automotive Combo Kit includes the new Fluke 88 V Automotive Digital Multimeter (DMM).
As well as a temperature probe, an inductive rpm pick-up probe, SureGrip silicone test leads, test probes and alligator clips, a magnetic hanger and a carry case, the kit now includes an insulation piercing clip and a pair of automotive connector probe pins.
This is all offered at a significantly reduced price compared to similar kits offered prior to the introduction of the 80 Series V DMMs.
At the same time, Fluke has also introduced a wide range of new accessories specially targeted at the automotive market.
These include 2mm and 4mm insulation piercing clips and back probe pins, an oxygen sensor insulation piercing clip, BNC to banana plug converters, and two SureGrip automotive test lead kits.
The 88 V DMM is a complete automotive package, loaded with functions including rpm measurement, lo-ohms for testing TBI injectors and ignition coils, and frequency measurements for MAF, MAP and ABS sensors.
It provides all the electrical functions needed to test engine sensors, actuators, connectors and components.
It also measures pulse width for testing fuel injectors and electronic transmission controls, and features duty cycle and dwell conversion for setting up ignition and feedback fuel systems.
The complete Fluke 88 V/A Automotive Combo Kit, including the 600V CAT IV compliant automotive meter, is available from Fluke authorised distributors at a recommended price of just £333.
