Testers promise rapid on-site measurements
Fluke has extended its range of compact voltage/continuity testers with the new T100 Series.
Fluke has extended its range of compact voltage/continuity testers with the new T100 Series.
These innovative two-pole testers are ideal for rapid on-site measurements of AC/DC voltage, continuity and resistance.
Offering excellent value for cost-conscious electrical professionals, they include a patented three-phase rotation detection system, a feature not normally found on instruments of this type.
All three models in the new Fluke T100 Series voltage and continuity testers measure voltage from 12V to 690V AC/DC.
The entry-level T100 model has an array of LEDs to indicate AC or DC voltage levels, whereas the T120 and T140 models feature a 1999-digit LCD and LED bargraph.
The T140 also measures resistance up to 0.2kohm and incorporates a backlight in the LCD.
Continuity on all models is indicated both optically and acoustically.
All three models feature a patented three-phase rotation detection system to provide rapid rotation indication.
Additional features include fully operational voltage indication even when the internal batteries are discharged, a single-pole test for phase detection, automatic internal load (used for tripping 30mA RCDs), 19mm separation of test probes for quick single-handed tests at socket outlets, and an integral LED torch for ease of use in low light level environments.
Designed with user safety as a primary consideration, the Fluke T100 Series testers comply with the requirements of the EN61010 safety standard, EN61243-3 and are Cat IV 600V rated.
Lightweight and compact, the instruments are ruggedly constructed for demanding site use and are ergonomically formed for ease of use even with gloved or slippery hands.
All models are protected against dust and moisture ingress to IP65.
The Fluke T100 Series are available from all Fluke authorised wholesalers and distributors, starting at a recommended trade price of just GBP 37 for the T100.
