A new Fluke electrical tester offers a low cost solution to professional electricians and maintenance personnel for rapid AC/DC voltage measurement and continuity testing.

A new Fluke electrical tester offers a low cost solution to professional electricians and maintenance personnel for rapid AC/DC voltage measurement and continuity testing.

Like the Fluke T100 Series of two-pole testers which it complements, it is designed with user safety as a primary consideration.

The recommended price is just GBP 20.

The new, rugged Fluke T50 measures AC/DC voltages from 12V up to 690V and has a Category III 600V safety rating.

It features an easy to read 10-LED display which indicates the most commonly encountered voltage levels, even without batteries.

Optical and acoustic indicators provide continuity testing.

The two-pole tester also indicates polarity and features a single pole test for phase detection.

The instrument's short response time delivers fast measurement results.

All three models in the T100 Series also measure voltages from 12 to 690V AC/DC.

They are ruggedly constructed for demanding site use and are Cat IV 600V safety rated.

They all feature a patented three-phase rotation detection system and an integral LED torch for ease of use in low light level environments.

The T100 has a similar LED array to the T50, while the T120 and T140 models have a 1999 digit LCD display and LED bargraph.

The T140 also measures resistance up to 0.2kohm and incorporates a backlight in the LCD.

The Fluke T50, T100, T120 and T140 are all available from Fluke authorised wholesalers and distributors.
