"Based on VDC's independent market research among users of single board computers and embedded motherboards, Force Computers has gained the distinction of leading both product categories in terms of total revenue-generating shipments in 2002", said Eric Gulliksen, Practice Director of VDC's Embedded Hardware Research Group.
"In addition, the company led the VME subcategory and came in second in CompactPCI.
Combined with its platinum vendor rating - developed through our non-product-specific, user-driven model - one can certainly say that Force has established a high level of regard among the community of embedded CPU board users".
Force supplies a full spectrum of building-block solutions - from ATX motherboards, processor PCI mezzanine cards (PrPMCs) and VMEbus modules to AdvancedTCA and CompactPCI platforms.
As soon as open-specification technologies appear, Force begins prototyping and testing them so that OEM customers can develop products with their required application features - reducing time from concept to full functionality.
"As a long-time partner to OEMs, Force offers the broadest, deepest product line in the embedded industry to meet precise requirements for nearly any application - with dedicated engineering teams available to work by the customer's side to ensure satisfaction", said Eric Gauthier, Force Corporate Director of Customer Marketing.
"On the whole, Force's extensive engineering capabilities and design methods ensure cost effectiveness and quick time-to-market for a cross-section of product and profit objectives".
