Oscillators run faster and are more stable
Fox Electronics has extended the frequency range and stability options of its popular F4100 Series crystal oscillators to 170MHz with stabilities as tight as +50ppm (F4105) for all conditions.
Greater system efficiency is achieved through the oscillator's direct connection to the system's processor, which eliminates the extra circuitry previously needed to match the processor's voltage to the oscillator's voltage.
The F4500 Series is ideal for low current, battery-operated applications including wireless LANs, handheld computers, such as PDAs, and other portable applications.
The new crystal oscillator has a frequency range of 30 to 70MHz and a maximum input current of 15mA.
It is housed in a ceramic 5 x 7.5mm package.
Stabilities for the F4500 Series are 25, 50 and 100ppm at both the -10 to +70 and -40 to +85C temperature ranges.
The F4500 Series is available on a 2000-unit tape and reel for automatic assembly systems.
Pricing for the new F4500 Series crystal oscillator with a frequency of 1.8432 MHz to 42.000 MHz starts at $0.85 per unit in quantities of 50,000.
Delivery is 8 weeks ARO.
