Oscillators run faster and are more stable
Fox Electronics has extended the frequency range and stability options of its popular F4100 Series crystal oscillators to 170MHz with stabilities as tight as +50ppm (F4105) for all conditions.
In addition, the RFX300 Series provides a significant increase in cost-to-performance ratio, since the new product can cost up to 40% less than other RF crystal oscillators currently available.
The RFX300 Series offers better than 0.5ps phase jitter, 3ps RMS jitter and 30ps cycle-to-cycle jitter; has frequency stabilities from +/-20 to +/-100ppm; and provides a frequency range of 600MHz to 1.25GHz.
Output symmetry is 45 to 55% at 50% peak-peak voltage over the frequency range.
Standard operating temperature of the RFX300 Series is -20 to +70C, and an extended temperature range of -40 to +85C is available.
Housed in an industry-standard package measuring 7.5 x 5.0 x 1.5mm, Fox's new rfXO features LV-PECL complementary outputs and is available in 3.3 and 2.5V versions.
Plans to further expand the rfXO product line include temperature-compensated and "ovenised" versions.
Pricing for a new RFX300 Series oscillator at 622.08MHz starts at $32 per unit in quantities of 1000.
Sample and prototype quantities are available for immediate shipment.
Large quantity delivery is 10-12 weeks ARO.
