A primary focus of the 2000 standard is on customer satisfaction, and the development of Fox's dedicated Custom Products Centre (CPC) plays an integral role in the company's overall quality management and customer satisfaction.
The CPC represents an integration and expansion of Fox's design engineering and customer support resources, including field application engineering, featuring additional FAEs to interface with customers in the field, and an expanded Technical Support Group.
ISO9001:2000 specifies requirements for a quality management system aimed at helping organisations achieve customer satisfaction and continual improvement.
This is demonstrated through ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable regulatory requirements, as well as enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the ISO system, including processes for continual improvement and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable regulatory requirements.
In order for a company to measure and ensure customer satisfaction, it must conduct regular customer surveys to obtain quantitative data relating to the performance of the company as well as its products.
EL Fox, President of Fox Electronics, said: "We're proud of our ability to uphold ISO's stringent quality requirements, while providing our customers with the broadest array of frequency control products for their specific applications".
Originally certified against the 1994 standard in 1999, Fox has successfully maintained its certification through surveillance audits conducted every six months, as well as recertification conducted every three years.
