Oscillators run faster and are more stable
Fox Electronics has extended the frequency range and stability options of its popular F4100 Series crystal oscillators to 170MHz with stabilities as tight as +50ppm (F4105) for all conditions.
With a frequency of 32.768kHz, the new FSN surface mount device (SMD) is optimised for a standard 12.5pF load capacitance, with an optional 7pF load capacitance available.
Frequency tolerance at 25C is -20 to +20ppm and frequency stability is -0.045ppm/C2 over the standard operating temperature of -40 to +85C.
Turnover temperature range is +20 to +30C and storage temperature is -55 to +125C.
Maximum equivalent series resistance of the new FSN crystal is 50kohm and insulation resistance is 500Mohm at 100V DC.
The new watch crystal comes standard in a 3000-unit tape and reel for automatic assembly systems.
Pricing for the new FSN crystal begins at $0.79 each in quantities of 3000.
Delivery is stock to 12 weeks.
