Oven controlled oscillator is half the
size
Fox Electronics has a new HCMOS half size, eight-pin DIP oven controlled crystal oscillator.
Fox Electronics has a new HCMOS half size, eight-pin DIP OCXO (oven controlled crystal oscillator) The reduced size of the FHS501AH oscillator makes it particularly useful in portable devices and stems from its use of a smaller crystal, which allows many other individual components in the OCXO to also be reduced

Oscillators run faster and are more stable
Fox Electronics has extended the frequency range and stability options of its popular F4100 Series crystal oscillators to 170MHz with stabilities as tight as +50ppm (F4105) for all conditions.
Applications that may utilise the OCXO range from GPS and time code instruments, to basestations, test equipment, synthesisers and digital switching equipment.
The FHS501AH's small form factor offers the same high frequency stability as a full size OCXO package, at +/-4.6ppm.
It features a frequency range of 10 to 80MHz, supply voltage of 5V +/-5% and an operating temperature range of 0 to +70C.
The RoHS-compliant OCXO measures only 13.2mm square, with a profile of 9.0mm.
Fox's new half-DIP OCXO is specified for Stratum III service.
Its operating power is 0.5W at 25C and its control voltage is 0.5-5.0V.
Additional specification information is also available.
Pricing for a FHS501AH OCXO is $52.25 each in quantities of 1000.
Delivery is 16 weeks ARO.
