Serial ID ensures quality control with lot traceability previously unattainable in the frequency control industry.

Fox Electronics now offers a novel serial identification (ID) number designed into its XpressO oscillator series that ensures quality control with lot traceability previously unattainable in the frequency control industry The unique serial ID, internally assigned to each oscillator, enables Fox to quickly and accurately trace any product back to its original manufacturing process, including raw materials used, date of manufacture, electrical testing performed and equipment used to manufacture the specific part

This comprehensive set of data gives users a higher degree of confidence that problems can be traced and corrected, decreasing the risk and exposure to faulty products.

Additional data collected includes all optimised electrical parameters based on customer specifications as well as those Fox personnel that performed work on the part during production.

If a component fails, the faulty component is sent to any one of Fox Electronics' convenient locations worldwide where the component's lot identification and serial number are read and valuable information is obtained about the individual XpressO part using Fox's advanced serial ID system.

With the use of Fox's serial identification system and advanced traceability equipment, the information obtained from the XpressO component is made available immediately.
