Low-voltage oscillators make major
savings
LVPECL and LVDS oscillators run from 2.5V supplies and require as little as half the current of traditional 3.3V models.
Fox Electronics now offers its XpressO LVPECL and LVDS oscillators with 2.5V operation, offering devices that that require as much as 50% less current than traditional 3.3V models The new oscillators enable operation at the same voltage as the silicon chips to which they are providing timing, resulting in less current and heat generation

Ultra-low profile for RTC crystal
Fox Electronics has a miniature watch crystal that measures just 7.0 x 1.5mm with an extremely low profile of 1.4mm.
The FXO-PC72 and FXO-LC72 oscillators employ noise reducing DSM technology and low noise architecture, offering significantly low levels of jitter and phase noise.
This series is ideal for a variety of applications including Sonet, Ethernet, storage area network, broadband access, microprocessors/DSP/FPGA, industrial controllers, test and measurement equipment, Fibre Channel and portable applications requiring low power usage.
The LVPECL and LVDS oscillators feature application specific integrated circuits (ASICs) for accurate performance, decreased cost and increased flexibility.
Designed to benefit engineers and purchasing personnel alike, these high-quality, low-cost oscillators offer short lead times and are guaranteed to be shipped within 24 hours for samples and within 10 days maximum for production quantities.
The LVPECL and LVDS oscillators offer a frequency range of 0.75MHz to 1.0GHz and stabilities as tight as +/-20ppm and operate at temperatures of -20 to +70C or -40 to +85C.
The RoHS-compliant series is constructed of gold over nickel termination finish and features industry-standard packaging of 7 x 5mm including footprint and pinout.
In addition, these oscillators offer Fox's new, patented serial identification system with comprehensive traceability to ensure quality control by tracing any product back to its original manufacturing lot.
Pricing for XpressO LVPECL and LVDS versions will vary depending on the output, frequency and stability needed.
A 2.5V, +/-25ppm, LVDS/LVPECL, 212.5MHz oscillator costs US $4.43 each in quantities of 1000.
