White LEDs provide novel display options
Forge Europa is claiming a European first for its new range of white seven-segment and dot-matrix displays.
Forge Europa is claiming a European first for its new range of white seven-segment and dot-matrix displays Three seven-segment and two dot-matrix devices are offered in the initial range, from 7.6 to 30mm character height, with other sizes coming on-stream in the near future
Features of the new products include: fluorescent-type white-LED display technology; consistent emission characteristics; a pleasing colour not previously available in LED technology; and the dot-matrix displays are x-y.
Prototyping quantities are available now ex-stock from Forge Europa, or the company's franchised distribution partner Farnell.
