Green light for outdoor LEDs
Forge Europa has expanded its range of visible spectrum discrete LEDs to include high-performance 505nm green LEDs, ideal for traffic and signage applications.

Forge Europa claims to have perfected a cost-conscious technique to provide LED backlighting for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications.
Package styles currently available are 3 and 5mm round (with viewing angles from 15 to 35 degrees) and elliptical devices varying in size from 4.0 x 2.7 to 5.8 x 4.6mm.
Typical performance in the round 15-degree package is in excess of 7cd.
All performance figures are provided by the company's own in-house test facility using the latest spectral and angular analytical equipment.
Forge Europa is now able to offer the full spectrum of visible LED wavelengths, from 405nm violet LEDs to 660nm deep red as well as an extensive range of white devices.
