Developed as a result of an extensive research programme, the OptiLED range of high performance white LED lamps is now available from Forge Europa.
The high-performance LED dot matrix displays have been specifically designed for the outdoor display market with a number of different size and wavelength options.
Package styles currently available are 18 to 60mm character height in 5 x 7 and 8 x 8 dot configurations.
Wavelengths include 632nm red, 611nm orange, 591nm yellow, 502nm traffic light green and 468nm blue.
Of particular interest to customers requiring true sunlight visibility will be the introduction of a 60mm 8 x 8 display having two chips per dot, providing the ultimate in performance with exceptional 120-degree viewing angle.
Forge Europa has also released a 40mm2 high-performance 16 x 16 dot matrix display in a wide range of exciting colour options including high performance blue, red and yellow, also being suitable for low current operation.
The displays are extremely slim, being less than 4mm in depth and incorporate rugged mounting pins to ensure ease of assembly.
Most modules have industry standard pin configurations, but custom pinouts can be offered at a nominal tooling cost to suit individual customers requirements.
Alternative face colour options are available.
Also available and renown for their high reliability and quality is the company's own very extensive range of low current, standard dot matrix displays.
Size options offered from 18 to 121mm in a vast range of wavelengths.
