Forge Europa claims to have perfected a cost-conscious technique to provide LED backlighting for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications.
All products are x-y stackable and are available in common cathode and common anode configurations.
The full colour RGB displays are offered in two intensity levels, standard and high performance, with all devices being individually binned for intensity of each primary colour.
To achieve optimum colour mixing, the displays are encapsulated with a lightly diffused epoxy, which also allows for very wide viewing characteristics.
The three individual RGB emitters ensure that a full spectrum of colours can be achieved including white.
All modules have industry standard dual-inline pin configurations, with custom pinouts being available at nominal tooling cost to suit individual customers requirements.
