Intelligent comms card for OEM developers
A new four-port version of its intelligent communications card for OEM developers has been introduced by FarSite Communications.
FarSite's cards were subjected to rigorous evaluation for use in harsh environments and subjected to the Belgian Army's strict product compliance tests.
They passed with flying colours.
"We chose FarSite's product because we needed highly reliable cards that would stand up to very rough treatment.
Major considerations in our selection were quality and assured, on-time delivery", says Evercom director Guy Zijlmans.
"We also wanted a supplier who would co-operate closely in the army evaluation trials.
FarSite attended these with us in Belgium".
The Belgian Army chose the FarSync X25 T1P model from the large FarSync X.25 range, a low-cost single-port compact intelligent PCI X.25 card with high immunity to electrostatic discharges and a high MTBF.
