Three-phase motors are increasingly being used in industrial, automotive and home appliance applications where high-reliability, low acoustic noise, variable speed capability and high-efficiency are requirements.
Featuring Fujitsu's 32bit RISC (FR) core with a maximum internal clock speed of 33MHz (PLLx8), the MB91F267N has 128Kbyte dual-operation flash memory that enables write, read and erase operations to be performed separately in each bank for easy data storage configuration.
A flexible multi-function timer for motor control provides: six-channel compare, four-channel input capture; four-channel (16bit) or eight-channel (8bit) PPG; three-channel 16bit free-run timer; and a waveform generator with dead-time generation and fault input.
Further features include: two dedicated 10bit ADC units with 11 input channels and a sampling speed of 1.2us; a single-channel CAN interface; a two-channel UART with synchronous/asynchronous modes; eight external interrupts plus NMI; a pulsewidth counter; three-channel, 16bit reload timer; a five-channel DMA; and a MAC unit providing 16 x 16bit +40bit in one cycle.
The new MotorKit-91F267-MC can serve as a development platform for many applications including BLDC (with Hall sensors or sensorless), PMSM with sinusoidal commutation, vector control of PMSM/ACIM and many more.
Key features include an integrated 24V/15A (configuration dependent) three-phase power stage; connectors for an external power stage; voltage and current measurement; an LCD connector; Hall/encoder connector (to ICU); isolated RS232 and CAN interfaces; and overcurrent and overvoltage detection.
