Fujitsu launches low pin-count microcontrollers

Fujitsu Microelectronics Europe (FME) has launched the MB95200 low pin-count series.

The series of single-chip standard microcontrollers with 8-24 pins is powered by an optimised core, with low-leakage technology and embedded flash.

Fast processing and low power consumption make the devices suitable for use in white goods such as washing machines, refrigerators, ovens and air conditioning units as well as for small household appliances such as shavers, cordless phones and remote controls.

Features include: Fujitsu embedded flash with 100k erase cycles and 20- year data retention; 10-bit analogue-to-digital converter in every device; precision on-chip oscillator, integrated clock supervisor and low-voltage detect options; compact and low-price on-chip-debug environment; free software development environment in C-language; web support with datasheets, manuals, application notes, example software and C-library; derivatives in SOP8/DIP8, SOP16/DIP16 and SOP20/DIP24 packages.
