Acquisition adds a parallel channel in
France
Deal enables Future to bring its full-service distribution model to a greater number of customers in France.
Future Electronics has acquired French component distributor PN Electronics, which it intends to operate as an additional sales channel in France separate from its existing operation PN Electronics has been operating in the French market for 23 years, and has annual sales revenue of around US $60 million, built on a foundation of electromechanical, passive and semiconductor suppliers

The deal enables Future to bring its full-service distribution model, which is aimed at helping customers get to market faster and at lower cost, to a greater number of customers in France.
PN Electronics customers will continue to enjoy the relationships and purchasing arrangements that they have been used to.
They will in addition gain access to Future's European technical services, including its European System Design Centre, and to a logistics infrastructure that can deliver next-day to anywhere in mainland Europe from a huge regional inventory.
According to Danny Miller, Managing Director of Future Electronics (EMEA): "Future Electronics in Europe already offers world-class engineering support, logistics services and inventory availability, and in PNE we are gaining in France the kind of local footprint and customer base that it might otherwise take us many years to build up".
Christian Berquier, founder and owner of PNE, adds: "We have a strong presence with the biggest industrial customer, so we were looking for a partnership with a worldwide leader in distribution".
"Future was the one that gave us the best synergy to support our offer of technical support and high added value services for our customers".
