KineticSystems has appointed Computer Aided Solutions to distribute its portable data logging and data acquisition systems in North America.

KineticSystems has appointed Computer Aided Solutions of Chesterland, Ohio, as distributor of its portable data logging and data acquisition systems in North America KineticSystems is a line of high-performance data acquisition and data logging products, including the successful DAQTM family of portable data loggers

Computer Aided Solutions specialises in the distribution of stand-alone data logging and data acquisition systems including products from dataTaker and Grant Instruments.

Through its extensive network of representatives CAS serves all of the major markets in North America as well as select markets in Central and South America.

The KineticSystems' DAQ family of portable solutions includes the 400, 500 and 700 series of portable data loggers/data acquisition systems which provide 2 to 64 input channels at up to 50,000 samples per second with 16bit resolution.

The DAQ family includes models with programmable gain and filtering and bridge sensor support.

Collected data can be sent to a PC via Ethernet or stored in an onboard, removable CompactFlash card.

The VersaDAQ software package is provided with KineticSystems' DAQ products to quickly and easily allow users to configure the acquisition, collect, display and plot either real-time or previously stored data, or export to Excel, Matlab or LabView.

These loggers are compact, reliable and extremely durable making them well suited for in-vehicle testing.

They are used to measure a variety of dynamic signals including temperature, vibration, stress, acceleration and voltage.

KineticSystems' data loggers are used in a variety of applications worldwide for automotive and aerospace testing, structural testing, electric vehicle and battery research, equipment and machine monitoring and fatigue/life cycle testing.

Prices for the KineticSystems' data loggers start at less than $4000.
