Mono display enhanced for handheld
applications
An enhanced version of Hitachi's popular 5.6 inch 1/4 VGA monochrome display is now available for use in industrial instrumentation and communications equipment.

The SP14Q002-A1 is a black/white transmissive Film STN display with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels.
Dot size and pitch are 0.345mm2 and 0.360mm2 respectively.
Easier to read in poor light conditions, the display benefits from a high contrast ratio of 25:1, a brightness level of 140 cd/m2 and an high efficiency Cold Fluorescent Tube (CFT) back-light.
Actual module dimensions are 167 x 109 x 10mm and the effective display area is 120 x 89mm.
