DC restorer for optical SDI interfaces
The GS1514 HD-LINX HDTV serial digital DC restorer for fibre-optic receivers is Gennum's first device specifically designed for use in SDI fibre-optic receivers.

HD-SDI at 1.485Gbit/s is supported, as well as all SD-SDI rates from 143 to 540Mbit/s.
The GS1514 also features input signal strength and carrier detect outputs, and internal output termination resistors.
Gennum is demonstrating the capabilities of the GS1514 at the 2001 IBC exhibition, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, from 14th to 18th September 2001.
