Seth-Smith joins from Snell and Wilcox, where he was an executive-board level Technical Director with responsibility for the company's research and development.
Prior to this, he was Vice-President, Engineering for Digital Processing Systems, where he was in overall charge of rolling out 625 line products.
He has also held a position as Chief Engineer at the Digital Video Systems Division of Scientific Atlanta.
Seth-Smith started his career with the Independent Broadcasting Authority, in design engineering roles.
Nigel Seth-Smith holds an honours degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southampton, and is a Member of the IEE and the IEEE.
