The Neosid range of high-quality manganese-zinc and nickel-zinc soft ferrites and wound components are now available in the UK from General Hybrid.

High-quality manganese-zinc and nickel-zinc soft ferrites and wound components, for applications such as power conversion, filtering, decoupling and proximity switching, are now available from General Hybrid Manufactured by German company Neosid, for whom General Hybrid is the sole UK representative, the markets for the products include automotive, avionics, communications, defence, medical and industrial

The ferrites, which are produced by pressing and injection moulding, are available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, with wall thickness down to 0.3mm.

The broad spectrum of surface-mountable wound components for use up to gigahertz frequencies includes high-reliability one-piece fabrications using injection-moulded ferrites.

Parylene coating and special assembly services can be also be provided.

Neosid products available from General Hybrid include: screw, rod and micro-gapped toroidal cores; tubes and multiaperture cores; chokes and fixed value inductors; filter kits and helix bandpass filters; adjustable RF coils; tuneable air coils; coil bobbins and formers; and wideband and pulse transformers.
