MEMS developments supported in Japan

GenISys has opened an office in Tokyo to provide localised, direct sales and support to its growing Japanese customer base.

GenISys has opened an office in Tokyo, helping it to meet the growing global demand for efficient, high-performance data preparation and proximity effect correction (PEC) for e-beam direct-write (EBDW) and mask aligner (proximity printing) lithography simulation.

The new office will also allow GenISys to provide localised, direct sales and support to its growing Japanese customer base.

In addition, the company has named software industry veteran John Sachen Director of Asia-Pacific Operations.

As head of the Japan-based operation, he will lead GenISys' local sales and technical support activities and manage the company's strategic business partners in Japan and the Asia-Pacific region.

GenISys' software solutions for advanced data preparation, process modelling and correction are key in the development of new nanoscale and MEMS devices, which requires strong co-operation with end users and partners in Asia.
