Universal contactor packs more punch

Measuring only 57 x 60 x 115mm, the GX12 sealed contactor with easy-connect industry standard chassis-level power connections, can be mounted in any direction practically anywhere.
According to Molyneux: "The GX12 is UL508 4/0 ambient compliant to 75C at 225A but can carry and switch 275A at 50C".
Stainless-steel hardware and mounting inserts provide years of corrosion free service.
The new GX12 is available with DC and AC coils.
Internal coil suppression is built-in for the DC coils.
There are no EMI emissions or crosstalk on system control power.
Single-pole/double-throw (SPDT) auxiliary contacts rated at 2A are available as an option.
The new GX12 can operate in unforgiving environments without requiring any special protective packaging.
Hermetically sealed, the GX12 is designed to meet: UL1604 for Class I and II, Div 2 and Class III for use in hazardous locations; IP67 for temporary water immersion for 30min; SAE J1171 - external ignition protection; and ISO8846 for protection against ignition around flammable gases.
The EPIC sealing technology reduces risk of fire or meltdown in overcurrent conditions.
