Giga Scale IC has raised $1.2 million in funding in a round led by ITU Ventures.

Giga Scale IC has raised $1.2 million in funding in a round led by ITU Ventures.

Funds will be used for general working capital and to expand its product development and distribution channels.

"The founders of Giga Scale IC have observed correctly that chip design in today's deep submicron processes requires early analysis of many more variables than ever before", says Jonah Schnel, Managing Partner at ITU Ventures.

"They took a practical view to build a tool that provides everyone involved in the design and manufacturing of a chip a way to make the tradeoffs required for a successful product.

That's why I believe Giga Scale IC is a sound investment".

"We are pleased to have ITU Ventures as our lead investor and plan to use this capital to scale the business in line with the demand our product is currently receiving in the marketplace", adds J George Janac, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Giga Scale IC.
