Kee appointment for business development

Arklin Kee has been named Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Giga Scale Integration Corp.

Arklin Kee has been named Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Giga Scale Integration Corp.

He reports to Vin Ratford, President of Giga Scale IC, who joined in December 2003.

"Arklin is a valuable addition to Giga Scale IC's management team", says Ratford.

"His drive, understanding of the semiconductor market and courageous selling style are a perfect complement to our needs.

Adds Kee: "My experience at InTime convinced me that a new class of electronic design automation software is critical to moving the semiconductor industry forward.

These tools must be based on a virtual silicon model of a chip and that can work across the semiconductor supply chain".

A versatile executive, Kee has extensive experience in domestic and international sales, business development and technical project management.

He was an early employee at InTime Software, serving as its Vice President of Business Development.

Prior to InTime, he worked for Cadence Design Systems as Vice President of Business Development.

At High Level Design Systems, now part of Cadence, he also served as Vice President of Business Development.

He started his career as a Technical Associate at Bell Telephone Laboratories.

Kee holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York.

He is a graduate of Santa Clara University's Management Development Programme.
