A new solution to wideband amplification is the APT4-00502000-2410-D4 low noise amplifier manufactured by Amplitech.

A new solution to wideband amplification is the APT4-00502000-2410-D4 low noise amplifier manufactured by Amplitech.

The SMA connectorised LNA has an operating frequency of 0.5-20.0GHz, an ultralow maximum noise figure of 2.4dB (typically 2.1dB), minimum output power of +10dBm (+20dBm IP3), minimum gain of 23dB, with a gain flatness across the entire band of +/-1.75dB.

Very important for system integration is its VSWR, which is typically 2.0:1 for both the input and output.

This amplifier can also be supplied with optional extended frequency range coverage down to 0.1GHz with minor specification changes.

The entire package size is only 36 x 18 x 7.4mm.

This series of amplifier is very popular for test bench applications, CW and flat noise figure ECM systems, simulators and as noise figure (or spectrum) analyser pre-amps.

The amplifier comes with a 3 year standard warranty and is just one of a wide range of standard and custom LNAs from Amplitech.
