More capacity for rechargeable range
Duracell has developed a new range of increased capacity AA NiMH rechargeable batteries and a high-speed charger designed to better satisfy the rechargeable power needs of high-drain digital devices.
The Ultra M3 has been specifically formulated to meet the demands of today's high-tech/high-drain devices, such as digital cameras.
Enhanced with M3 technology, this high-performance range includes the always ready power of the CP1, and provides the solution to maximum power and reliability for the smallest portable devices.
"The international battery market is growing at a significant rate, and it is critical that battery manufacturers are able to meet users' power demands and remain competitive", said Constant Berkhout, Business Manager - Duracell B2B Europe.
"Duracell's Ultra M3, Plus and Procell ranges already delivered class-leading performance, but by further improving service life we are able to deliver a product that will suit today's demanding user".
With enhanced service life, the new batteries are targeted at the high volume user who needs a consistent quality of power.
An example of this would be an electrician; this profession relies on voltmeters to check current and can prove a life-saving tool.
Power availability is therefore key to this market.
Duracell's new formula batteries deliver the long-lasting, premium power necessary for this genre of user, and may prove a viable alternative in the event of mains power failure.
For a limited period after launch, the new batteries will be distinguished by bold new packaging.
The new packaging will feature a "new and improved" banner thereby enabling wholesalers and distributors to position the enhanced Duracell batteries vis-a-vis other brands.
Retail packs of Duracell Plus will also feature the legendary Duracell bunny.
"Duracell's brand is built on quality and performance", commented Timo Lorenz, buyer at Sigma-Elektro.
"By understanding the needs of the user and introducing these new products, Duracell is providing customers the tools necessary to fulfil their jobs".
"Key workers need reliable power and Duracell is able to deliver this in abundance".
