This latest contract involves the supply of full PCB assembly and box build for a newly developed product.
Based in Bodelwyddan, North Wales (as one of more than 240 locations worldwide) Tyco has been in existence for over 40 years and is the world's largest supplier of passive electronic components and a major producer of active components.
The company's products can be found in applications such as computers, telecommunications equipment, industrial machinery, aerospace and defence to name but a few.
Nick Andrews, Logistics Manager of Tyco said: "GSPK Electronics have been a valued partner in the manufacturing of our electronics products for a number of years.
The award of this contract is a culmination of all the hard work and dedication put in by both parties during this time".
Ray McDonough, Business Unit Leader for RF and Telecommunications at GSPK Electronics adds: "We have worked with Tyco providing PCB and box assemblies for a range of differing products and as such have built up a solid working relationship.
This specific volume order was due to be manufactured and assembled in the Far East and as a result, and due to the adversity currently being faced by manufacturing in the UK today, this latest development and contract win is especially meaningful to us".
