Colleagues at a leading Yorkshire electronics company have celebrated achieving their NVQ qualifications in a special ceremony conducted on the GSPK Technology Park in Knaresborough this week.
Having made a strategic decision to up the skills level of their workforce through NVQ and learndirect qualifications, GSPK Electronics has invested in its employees to provide, not only benefits for their self esteem and confidence, but also the prospect of enhancing and adding value to the service they provide to their customers.
The company is able to calculate training needs through initial assessments and regular company appraisals from which training schedules are identified and implemented.
The current batch of graduates have achieved NVQ levels 2 and 3 in procurement and have been working towards their qualifications for the past 18 months.
