Electronics fair set to be China's
largest
Thousands of buyers from around the globe have registered to attend the autumn China Sourcing Fair: Electronics and Components from 10th to 12th October 2005 in Shanghai.

Engineers and technicians must be trained
Leading UK engineering and technology firms, with a combined multi-million pound spend on training and development, will assemble at the IEE 'Investing in Technical Teams' forum on 4 November 2004.

China's leading up-and-coming manufacturers to exhibit at the Fair Major exhibits include consumer electronics, computers and networking products; electronic components; security and safety products and telecomms products.
Among the hundreds of companies confirmed to exhibit are some of Greater China's leading suppliers, including Scud Electronics, Xing Da Printed Circuit Board and Guangdong Surpass Electronics, plus up-and-coming companies with substantial export experience.
Vendor summits, unique to China Sourcing Fairs, allow buyers to introduce their companies and outline their sourcing requirements to groups of preselected exhibitors.
This saves both parties time and money.
Vendor summits will be held by companies including Brookstone, Samsung, Mueller Electric and members of the WorldWide Retail Exchange (WWRE), an organisation which represents many of the world's largest retailers with combined annual sales of US $900 billion.
Conferences at the fair will help companies understand and overcome the challenges of sourcing and exporting in the dynamic China market.
Speakers from HSBC China, SGS, Texas Instruments, TNT and Philips Semiconductors will discuss China banking, logistics, patent protection, as well as other topics such as digital convergence and power management.
Product Sourcing Forums, to be held during the fair, aim to give buyers insight into China supplier capabilities for mobile phones, MP3 players and high-brightness LEDs.
The forums are based on Global Sources' best-selling series of China Sourcing Reports.
