Global Sources China Sourcing Fair: Electronics and Components will feature over 2300 booths between 11th and 14th October 2006 at AsiaWorld-Expo - more than 30% larger than its Hong Kong debut in April.

It will feature more than 1000 exhibitors from mainland China.

Chairman and CEO of Global Sources, Merle A Hinrichs, said: "The Electronics and Components Fair keeps growing show after show".

"Now in its seventh session, this October is the biggest ever - offering buyers 30% more booths than the April Fair".

"Buyers are drawn to the fair for its broad range of new products and quality suppliers from all of Asia's key source markets for electronics".

"In October, it features more than 1400 booths of mainland China exhibitors - up by 60% over April".

"Plus there are 900 booths of Hong Kong and Taiwan suppliers".

The China Sourcing Fair: Electronics and Components features more than 1000 exhibitors from mainland China, with a strong representation from suppliers in the Guangdong/Shenzhen electronics corridor.

There will be hundreds more from emerging sourcing centres throughout mainland China.

Many suppliers will be exhibiting in Hong Kong for the first time.

The stunning New Product Gallery in Hall 10 showcases exhibitors' latest innovations.

A new Global Positioning Systems (GPS) Pavilion will debut at the October Fair.

Hinrichs said: "Global Positioning Systems exports from the region are booming - helped by the growing popularity of automotive GPS units".

"Mainland China's production value of GPS units is expected to top $1.6 billion in 2006 - up from $1.28 billion in 2005".

The new Health and Personal Care Electronics Product Demonstration Area will give buyers a hands-on look what's next in one of Greater China's fastest-growing export categories.

The fair's other product pavilions are: consumer electronics; in-car electronic products; computer and networking products; telecomms products and accessories; security and safety products; optoelectronics; electronic components; and power supplies.

There will be more than 600 booths of electronic components at the Fair, 20% more than in April, and nearly twice as many as the October 2005 show.
