Chris Webb's position as IT and Support Services Manager of Global Display Solutions' UK subsidiary Emco Electronics UK has been confirmed as part of the global restructuring of the group.

Chris Webb's position as IT and Support Services Manager of Global Display Solutions' (GDS) UK subsidiary Emco Electronics UK has been confirmed as part of the global restructuring of the group under the new GDS identity.

This new role gives Webb key responsibilities to manage and improve Emco's internal and external support systems GDS is the newly formed company resulting from the recent merger between Emco Electronics (UK and USA) and Italian CA and G.

As Support Services Manager, Webb is responsible for establishing a new Human Resources Department for the company amongst other projects.

Webb joined Emco 3 years ago, starting off as IT Systems Administrator and then IT Systems and Facilities Manager before moving onto his current position.

Based in Yorkshire, Webb will be working on several projects including the re-accreditation of the company for Investors in People (IIP) and recruitment of new staff to the company.

After graduating from Surrey University with a degree in Russian/economics and international business studies, Webb worked for First Data Resources as a Client Executive before moving onto EuroForum as a conference producer for Russia and the Middle East.
