Emco Electronics will now officially trade as Global Display Solutions, with effect from 10th June 2002.

Emco Electronics will now officially trade as Global Display Solutions, with effect from 10th June 2002.

This is part of the global rebranding that has followed the recent merger of Emco Electronics with Italian CA and G Industria to form the Global Display Solutions Group (GDS Group).

The global establishment of the GDS brand combined with the sharing of talent, technologies, and resources that has resulted from the merger, means GDS is uniquely positioned to achieve this aim".

This single global identity facilitates clear communication for all current and future customers of GDS, which is represented across five continents, offering a world-class service in 27 countries.

Establishing a single identity in all territories will also strengthen the GDS brand, and enable the Company to be easily recognisable, and accessible, on an international basis.

Emco Electronics (now GDS UK) has been established for over 25 years, and has built an excellent reputation for designing and manufacturing high performance industrial displays for applications such as ATMs, public information, kiosks and PC monitors in markets such as banking, rail, air, marine, process, medical and entertainment.

This experience and expertise will now be developed further under the GDS identity.

GDS will continue to invest heavily in R and D, the fruits of which are demonstrated by the outstanding performance, and low defects rate (below 0.5%), of its current product range.

The establishment of a single identity across the world reflects the GDS vision, and capability, to provide the best globally available display solutions for local needs.
