Global Display Solutions (GDS) has a new large-screen 30in LCD PID.

Global Display Solutions (GDS) has a new large-screen 30in LCD PID The new 30in LCD flat screen PID is a lightweight, compact and reliable display

This new LCD has better on screen performance compared with gas plasma and comes with an extended 3-year warranty.

The MTBF is greater than 45kh, which compares favourably with CRT technology, and means that maintenance costs are greatly reduced.

GDS's new 30in LCD has a 16:9 aspect ratio, full screen brightness (450cd/m2), a high reliability backlight and colour and brightness uniformity.

It also has high resolution (WXGA) and wide viewing angles (horizontal and vertical viewing angles of better than 160 degrees), which create a clear and easy to view picture.

With a compact 30in display and mechanical dimensions of 27 x 17.5 x 4in, the new LCD PID is a space-saving investment compared with standard 29 and 30in CRT based products.

The display can be tailored to fit into current and future applications, with a minimum mullion and a depth of less than 5in.

The display is currently available as a wall mount or stand-alone unit and can be supplied with optical enhancing shatterproof faceplates.

The 30in LCD display has an analogue RGB (15-pin DSUB) video compatibility, with multiple inputs available and requires power input 90-260V AC, 50/60Hz, 2A.

It has been designed to EN60950, UL 1950 and CSA 22.2 n 950 specifications.

The 30in LCD meets all applications including flight and rail information displays, public information kiosks, retail exhibits, trade shows and conference rooms.
