LCD signs receive wireless connectivity
Global Display Solutions (GDS) has added wireless options to its products in direct response to the growing demand for large screen outdoor LCD signage.
This new LCD has better on screen performance compared with gas plasma and comes with an extended 3-year warranty.
The MTBF is greater than 45kh, which compares favourably with CRT technology, and means that maintenance costs are greatly reduced.
GDS's new 30in LCD has a 16:9 aspect ratio, full screen brightness (450cd/m2), a high reliability backlight and colour and brightness uniformity.
It also has high resolution (WXGA) and wide viewing angles (horizontal and vertical viewing angles of better than 160 degrees), which create a clear and easy to view picture.
With a compact 30in display and mechanical dimensions of 27 x 17.5 x 4in, the new LCD PID is a space-saving investment compared with standard 29 and 30in CRT based products.
The display can be tailored to fit into current and future applications, with a minimum mullion and a depth of less than 5in.
The display is currently available as a wall mount or stand-alone unit and can be supplied with optical enhancing shatterproof faceplates.
The 30in LCD display has an analogue RGB (15-pin DSUB) video compatibility, with multiple inputs available and requires power input 90-260V AC, 50/60Hz, 2A.
It has been designed to EN60950, UL 1950 and CSA 22.2 n 950 specifications.
The 30in LCD meets all applications including flight and rail information displays, public information kiosks, retail exhibits, trade shows and conference rooms.
