G-Bond technology reduces overall system reflection to less than 2%, enabling complete sunlight readability without the need for increased display brightness.
GDS selected Flextronics in response to both an increased demand for ATM monitors from Brazil's banking market, and high importation duties on end products being shipped into Brazil.
GDS recognised that by having Flextronics assemble its ATM monitors at manufacturing sites in Brazil, Brazilian banking customers would benefit from readily available ATM monitors at non-import taxed prices.
This will allow GDS to increase its competitive edge in Brazil's ever-expanding ATM market.
Keith George, Engineering Manager at GDS, comments: "We are extremely optimistic about this venture".
"With the assistance of Flextronics, we can serve our Brazilian client base's needs at low price to both ourselves and to them".
"With such a strong proposition, we are optimistic that we will increase our foothold in the country and enjoy considerable local growth".
Antonio Federico, Director at Flextronics' Brazil operations, added: "We look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship assisting GDS to maximise its market objectives in this region".
