GDS Clearview is a subsidiary of Global Display Solutions (GDS), market leader in the design and manufacture of industrial displays, with the G-Bond process adding to GDS's extensive range of outdoor display products.
G-Bond optical bonding reduces overall reflection to less than 2%, making sunlight readability possible with less display brightness.
The G-Bond process works by combining thoroughly tested and matched siloxane-based chemicals to form a resulting gel material which is added to antireflection glass.
In addition to significantly improving readability, G-Bond technology provides greater protection to the display, improves retention in breakage situations, removes condensation, fogging and other optical defects and stops foreign matter intrusion that obscures data.
As G-Bond technology improves display resistance to UV rays, the process is particularly effective when used with outdoor displays such as passenger information displays, ATM screens, outdoor kiosks and petrol pump displays.
GDS Clearview can apply its G-Bond process to any LCD from any OEM manufacturer onto display diagonal sizes ranging from 2.5 to 47in.
GDS Clearview can also work with any customer-supplied displays, including modified display modules.
David Blass, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at GDS Clearview, comments: "G-Bond technology is widely recognised as the highest performance yet lowest cost glass lamination process in the industry".
"As G-Bond is particularly effective when used on outdoor displays the process is ideal for use on GDS's existing range of displays, ensuring customers of both businesses have access to an even wider range of optically bonded solutions as well as worldwide support".
