New at Glyn is the F2MC-16LX range of Fujitsu microcontrollers, suitable for automotive and industrial applications.

Features of the F2MC-16LX include 0.8- or 0.5-micron CMOS technology, mask ROM and Flash or OTP versions and 16MHz maximum internal clock speed from an external 4MHz source.

For the 0.5-micron devices, a 3V MCU core offers low EMI and low power consumption figures, and an internal voltage regulator supports a 5V operation.

The entire F2MC-16LX series is supported by at least one device which has Flash ROM as the user-programmable memory.

This uses the same technology as the standard Fujitsu Flash memories.

Several devices based on the F2MC-16LX have a fully featured CANbus protocol controller as an on-chip peripheral for automotive and industrial applications.
