All Flash 8051-based microcontrollers from Goal Semiconductor are now RoHS-compliant.

In line with its "go green" initiative, Goal's Versa microcontroller families of low-cost, drop-in replacements for industry standard MCUs now meet RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) standards.

Available in 44-pin PLCC, 44-pin QFP and 40-pin DIL packages, Goal's lead-free Versa MCU families include: the VRS1xxx series with 64 or 128Kbyte of Flash memory, 1Kbyte of RAM and in-system/in-application programming capabilities; the VRS5xx series with 4-64Kbyte of Flash and 128byte to 4Kbyte of RAM; the VRS700 with 64Kbyte of Flash and 4Kbyte of RAM; and the VRS900 mixed-signal MCU with 8Kbyte of Flash, 256byte of RAM, a four-channel 8bit ADC and a 14-segment LCD driver.
