Test card simulates automotive switching
A new PXI card provides switch simulation and state monitoring of digital signals in automotive engineering applications.
This is the result of a general economic upturn, the company's increased market share and the market turning towards Goepel Electronic as a brand leader in test and measurement as well as the company's strategic policy of expansion.
During 2004, ten new direct employees were hired (making a total of 95 people) and sales and support centres were established in the USA, Canada, Italy and Scandinavia.
Goepel Electronic has also entered the Chinese market where a new centre of expertise for automotive test systems was opened.
Managing Director, Manfred Schneider, recently visited a number of Chinese business locations and had some very promising discussions with potential customers in early December.
"We've always maintained that there is no real crisis, rather it had been artificially created and exaggerated", argues Holger Goepel, Chief executive Director of Goepel Electronic.
During his traditional speech at the company's annual Christmas party he declared: "We cannot view 2004 as simply a successful year but a super year".
"Frankly speaking I would say we had a fat and extraordinary year".
Approximately 30% of the total turnover was achieved by exports, (about Eur 3 million) but this is in conjunction with the increase in German domestic sales of Eur 1.2 million compared with the prior year.
That means 18% more test and measurement products and services from Goepel Electronic were sold in 2004. Request free introductory details about products from Goepel Electronic ...
