"We are very glad to be among those companies who work to define a new standard useful for ATE users in the near future", says Holger Goepel, Goepel Electronic's CEO.
"We have been positioning our company as a technology driver since its existence".
"It's always an advantage not only to learn about new technologies but to help forge them".
The LXI standard describes the interconnection of modular systems by means of a cost-effective open LAN standard IEEE802.3 (Ethernet).
LXI modules have neither front panel nor control elements.
The measurement results are controlled and indicated by a computer via an Ethernet connection.
The control PC can be an existing computer with standard interfaces.
Furthermore, the LXI standard supports the simple software exchange between rack-and-stack devices and LXI modules thereby enabling existing software to be used.
The LXI Consortium (www.lxistandard.org) was founded by Agilent Technologies and VXI Technology.
Meanwhile, more than 15 leading test and measurement companies are associates.
Goepel Electronic is the first vendor of JTAG/boundary scan solutions to join the consortium. Request free introductory details about products from Goepel Electronic ...
