Flexible modules can be used to test such functions as the LVDS connections between video sources and LCDs.

Goepel Electronic now offers several LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signalling) solutions for the testing of infotainment components in vehicles.

These flexible modules can be used to test such functions as the LVDS connections between video sources and LCDs.

The 4105 LVDS splitter allows the distribution of an LVDS signal to a maximum of eight receivers.

It has been designed using the bus-LVDS-serdes concept, which means that all video information including embedded clock pulses can be transmitted via only two wires.

The eight outputs are identically constructed and active after power being supplied.

The basicCON 4115 LVDS frame generator is a stand-alone device with a USB 2.0 interface for connection to a PC or laptop.

It can be configured to store approximately 20 pictures in various file formats and to display them in less than one second.

Two images are interlaced for dual view displays in the onboard microcontroller.

All images are stored via a USB interface, and the LVDS frame generator operated via PC software.

The LVDS connection is executed via an additional board in the device which is arranged mutually.

On the board, there is a deserialiser that can be adapted according to the serialiser in use.

These two flexible solutions can be configured to test various units with different image files depending on the applied serialiser and deserialiser.
