Raytheon was introduced to GSPK Circuits in June 2002 following recommendation from Ferro, which provides the specialist ink within this technical process.
Said David Hunter, Sales Director, GSPK Circuits: "Following recommendations from one of our suppliers, Raytheon Microelectronics visited the GSPK Technology Park in June 2002 for a tour of the facilities and to meet the team.
They requested that we produce samples, which we did, and they were later trialled, tested and approved.
As a result, we were able to enter into manufacturing and business negotiations and secured the contract from the incumbent supplier".
Hunter continues: "The positive changes made at GSPK Circuits have enabled the company to significantly improve competitive advantage throughout the supply chain.
As we all know, times and trading conditions have changed, especially in the electronics industry.
In order to remain competitive, we as a company have spent time working with customers to identify their specific needs.
Satisfying their expectations is not enough, we aim to exceed them and feedback to date tells us that we are well on the way to achieving those aims".
