GTK has launched a custom fabrication service with the aim of adding value and reducing time to market for its customers.
The company provides a low volume/manual and high volume/automated assembly service, using its own components or outsourced parts.
If required, the finished article can include company logos and colour matching to suit customer product branding.
GTK also manufactures a wide range of standard and custom cable assemblies for use in applications that include networking, measurement and control, medical, automotive, computing and data processing.
To support the increasing demand for this service, GTK has begun work on its new factory in Jiang Xi Quan Nan, China, which is expected to produce over 900,000 pieces of cable per month.
The facility, measuring 14000m2, will employ a workforce of 800.
Further, the company designs custom light sources with specific light output and optical performance for higher volumes of LED boards.
These consist of single or multiple light sources mounted on a metal PCB substrate.
