Surface mount EMI/RFI shield clip
As demand for RFI shielding has risen significantly, the need for an effective way to mount shields has now been addressed by Harwin.
The connectors are designed for use in telecomms, networking and high end computing applications.
Offering industry standard compatibility, the range includes type A, B25, B22, B19, AB25, AB22, AB19 and C configurations with or without pre-installed shields.
By using six-contact geometry, a large number of varied contact mating and termination lengths can be provided.
Sequential mating for hot-pluggable applications is available on request.
A range of accessories is available to support all design requirements, including shrouds for midplane applications and coding keys to prevent mismating.
Housings are manufactured from glass-filled PBT, and the compliant press fit contacts are selective gold/tin plated for reliability and performance.
The connectors have a current rating of 1A per pin, and initial contact resistance of 25mohm and operate between -55 and + 125C.
Components are packaged in tubes.
