As demand for RFI shielding has risen significantly, the need for an effective way to mount shields has now been addressed by Harwin.
M50 and M52 connectors are now available in various heights from 3.45 to 8.5mm.
To provide even more versatility, custom height variations can be made available for pin headers in both series.
More, surface mount versions of the connectors can include location pegs to assist in automated assembly.
Also - in line with Harwin's overall policy - they are all RoHS-compliant ahead of new legislation.
These new 1.27mm pitch parts are available in SIL and DIL styles with row spacings of 1.27 or 2.54mm (DIL only).
Devices feature a current rating of 1A per contact, voltage rating of 150V AC and a minimum insulation resistance of 1000Mohm.
Insertion force is 0.6N and operating temperature range is -40 to +105C.
The new fine pitch connectors meet current industry standard and are available on a four week lead time or from stock through Harwin's distribution network.
